Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Your Golf Group service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Your Golf Group provides software for organizing golf groups, scheduling rounds, managing teams, and tracking scores and statistics. Free accounts are available for individual players. Paid subscriptions are required for group organizers and organizations that wish to manage groups and access advanced features.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
- Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the next billing date.
- Prices are listed in USD and may be updated with 30 days' advance notice.
Refund Policy
No partial refunds are issued. When you cancel a subscription, your access continues through the end of the current billing period. No credit or proration is provided for unused time remaining in your billing cycle.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Abuse, harass, or spam other members of the platform
- Attempt unauthorized access to any account, system, or network
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Introduce malware, bots, or automated scripts that interfere with platform operation
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the platform (photos, notes, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display and store it solely for the purpose of operating the service. We reserve the right to moderate and remove content that violates these terms or our community standards.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases at the end of the current billing period.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We make no warranties as to uptime, accuracy of third-party integrations (including GHIN handicap sync), or fitness for a particular purpose. Use of the service is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the service is limited to the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice with at least 30 days' advance notice. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
