Your Golf Group ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that data.

2. Information We Collect

Account registration: name, email address, and a hashed password.
Profile data: handicap index, optional profile photo or avatar.
Usage data: round history, team assignments, scoring records, and signup activity.
Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your plan type and subscription status — no card numbers are ever stored on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

To operate the platform: scheduling rounds, building teams, tracking scores and rewards.
To send communications within your organization only — round announcements, signup confirmations, and result notifications.
To process subscription payments via Stripe.
To improve the service through aggregate, anonymized analytics (Google Analytics).

4. We Do Not Share Your Data

Your data is never sold, rented, or shared.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose. Data submitted inside Your Golf Group is used exclusively for communications within your organization.

The only third-party processors who may handle your data are:

Stripe — payment processing
Supabase — database hosting
Resend — transactional email delivery
Twilio — SMS delivery

Each of these processors is bound by strict data processing agreements and is prohibited from using your data for any purpose beyond service delivery.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

6. Security

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. We follow industry-standard practices for access control and regularly review our security posture.

7. Children's Privacy

The service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data through our platform, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice before taking effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
